I specialize in animal art in acrylic on canvas, but I recently started working in digital as well. Rainbows and arbitrary color are always a focus. Radicalize your life with color! I was born in Germany, but grew up in Arizona, and takes the inspiration for my bright artwork from the desert Southwest.

I started out self-taught painting, acrylic on canvas, in 2001. My work has shown in various venues throughout Arizona, and across the country. My goal with my traditional painting work is to bring our connection to animals out on the canvas.

In 2013, after five long years, I graduated cum laude from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration. It was really difficult, and I’m really proud of it. My artwork can be found on Etsy, Threadless, and various social media platforms. I sell print reproductions as well as originals. I also take commissions for custom work. I am an advocate of no-kill animal rescue and conservation, and work with various rescue and shelter organizations through the U.S and abroad.

My interest include music, literature and film. I dabble in all mediums.

I live in AZ with my fam, two rescued dogs, and about a hundred plants. We want to move out of the desert and live in the forest for a while.
